George Hook's 'A Country Worth Fighting For' this Tuesday November 17th @ 8pm in the Glasshouse Hotel
George Hook has kicked off a national tour, aimed at getting to the heart of what really matters to people in these changed economic times.
As a new era emerges far from the excesses of the Celtic Tiger, George will ask a crowd of locals, business owners and politicians in towns across Ireland, how do we move forward?
Convinced that politicians are no longer listening to the people they represent George aims to lend a well known voice to a country he believes is worth fighting for and wants to hear from you. Over the next few months, George will be hosting these events throughout the Country and reporting back opinions, questions and issues raised at the talks on his evening radio show.
The next event takes place on Tuesday 17th November in The Glasshouse, Sligo at 8pm. Admission is Free.
Email George with your comments and suggestions of locations for future visits at therighthook@newstalk.ie
