Oxford Academic to give public lecture at IT Sligo

Sligo native Keith Hopper, who lectures Literature and Film Studies for Oxford University’s Department for Continuing Education and for St. Clare’s College, Oxford, will give a public lecture IT Sligo on Monday 15 February . The lecture will be based on Flann O’Brien’s “The Third Policeman”.
Keith is the author of Flann O’Brien: A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Post-modernist (revised edition 2009) and general editor of ‘Ireland into Film (2001-07)’, a series of twelve books on literary adaptations. Recent and forthcoming publications include articles on Joyce and Yeats, and chapters in books on Neil Jordan, Flann O’Brien, and Aidan Higgins.
