LiveTrad.com is a new, interactive website which streams Traditional Irish Music and culture over the internet.

The first LiveTrad.com multi-camera webcast will be broadcast from Barry’s Public House in Grange, Co. Sligo at 10pm local time on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th 2010 (6pm EST, 3pm WST).

This 90 minute stream on LiveTrad.com will feature some of Sligo’s most talented traditional musicians and is FREE to the viewer.

This will be an interactive web experience. Not only will you be able to hear the best in Irish tunes and songs, but you’ll also be able to request particular tunes, say hello to the folks back home, and much more, all on our online message board.

LiveTrad.com follows on from a successful pilot project we ran at last October’s Sligo Live Festival, where we streamed traditional Irish music sessions live over 4 consecutive nights.

The website’s live at present. Have a look at www.livetrad.com. You can also sign up now for our free Newsletter.
