On Saturday the 14th of July The Model plays host to the side-splittingly funny Kevin Gildea accompanied by MC John Collery. Kevin Gildea has won several National Radio Playwriting awards and is a pillar of the Irish comedy circuit since appearing in Father Ted in 1996 and gigging internationally ever since.
Described as a comedy genius his Edinburgh Fringe shows are critically acclaimed sell-outs; he has written for Alexei Sayle and appeared on TV’s The Stand Up Show, The Comedy Store St Patrick’s Day Special and The Amnesty International Comedy Special. His mild manner and quirky absurdist viewpoint pave the way for hilarious ruminations, reviewed as original challenging and provocative this is a definite must see for comedy lovers.
